WELCOME TO OUR BLOG ABOUT THE BICULTURAL-BILINGUAL PROJECT!

Last year, we decided to embark on a new project for our students which is going to help them to improve their skills in English as well as expose them to different cultures, values and traditions. In this blog, you can find the activities that we are doing as well as resources on several cultural topics. The aim of the bicultural-bilingual program is to enrich the lives of students by incorporating traditions and festitives celebrated in other countries whilst reinforcing the English they learn in the classroom.

El año pasado, decidimos empezar con un nuevo proyecto en nuestro centro ya que pensamos que era una nueva forma de que nuestros alumnos aprendiesen inglés y la cultura de los países anglosajones. En este blog, podrás encontrar toda la información relativa al programa bicultural bilingüe que se va a empezar a desarrollar durante este curso académico en nuestro centro. Esperemos que les guste y les ayude a aprender mucho más sobre las fiestas y tradiciones de otros países a la vez que mejoran su inglés.

They brought them from home and then they had some time to enjoy them Read more info about the history Esta vez, nuestros queridos estudiantes han tenido la oportunidad de disfrutar junto a sus compañeros de unas estupendas tortitas caseras, las tortitas las han traído de casa y salieron al patio para disfrutar de ellas.

Farm Animals

We are continuing with animals in our Bilingual Bicultural project! The 1st grade students have created a beautiful farm with various farm animals. Through this activity we have learned the names of farm animals, their sounds and the different parts of each animal, all accompanied with songs related to this topic! They had a great time! En nuestro Proyecto Bicultural seguimos trabajando los animales, en esta ocasión con los alumnos de 1º de Primaria que han realizado una bonita granja con sus animales. A través de esta actividad hemos conocido los nombres de los animales que viven en la granja, su sonidos, las diferentes partes de cada animal y todo ello acompañado de divertidas canciones relacionadas con esta temática. ¡Lo han pasado genial!
