Halloween


Happy Halloween! 馃懟馃崿 

    During the weeks of October 18th and October 25th, each grade in primary made a different craft related to Halloween. We made cotton bud skeletons, paper pumpkins, cats, balloon aliens, hand witches, yarn spider webs, and more! In conversation class, we learned a lot about the tradition of Halloween and how it has evolved from what it first was in the 18th century to what we know it as today. We learned about the ancient Irish Celts, All Saints Day, end of autumn celebrations, jack o´ lanterns, trick or treating, and other common traditions.

    Thanksgiving!  Did you know that Thanksgiving is not only celebrated in the US but also in Canada?  ¿Sab铆as que Acci贸n de Gracias, a parte de en Estados Unidos, tambi茅n se celebra en Canad谩?  Canada celebrates Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October instead of November. Welcome to The Nova Hispalis Bicultural-Bilingual Program

 WELCOME TO OUR BLOG ABOUT THE BICULTURAL-BILINGUAL PROJECT!      Last year, we decided to embark on a new project for our students which is going to help them to improve their skills in English as well as expose them to different cultures, values and traditions.
